🍏 Smoked Apple Cake Recipe Ingredients:

✔️ Non-stick baking spray (with flour)

✔️ 2/3 cup light brown sugar

✔️ 2 large eggs

✔️ 1/3 cup apple butter

✔️ 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

✔️ 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

✔️ 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

✔️ 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

✔️ 1 tsp. cinnamon

✔️ 3/4 tsp. kosher salt

✔️ 1/2 tsp. baking soda

✔️ 2 small Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped (about 2 cups)

✔️ 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans

✔️ Powdered sugar, for dusting

🔥 Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat your grill to 350°F. Prepare a 9-inch cast iron pan with non-stick baking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper.

2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, apple butter, melted butter, and vanilla.

3️⃣ Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda—whisk until just combined.

4️⃣ Fold in the chopped apples and toasted pecans using a rubber spatula.

5️⃣ Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly.

6️⃣ Bake on the grill for 28-32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7️⃣ Remove from the grill and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

8️⃣ Dust with powdered sugar before serving & enjoy!

📌 Pro Tip: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with Irish cream caramel sauce for an extra festive touch!
